Your Well-Being Is in Good Hands
WELCOME TO A NEW WAY OF BEING, THINKING & DOING
SARA K PELAEZ, PSYCHOTHERAPIST
“Probably the biggest insight… is that peace is not just a place, but also a process. Peace is an ongoing embodied process of fresh challenges, and… it takes learning about ourselves, becoming aware and a felt-sense of safety to continue this human journey in the best way possible.”

The Way I Roll...
Most of us navigate life not understanding our experiences. As if we were born without an owner’s manual and nobody is giving us direction. We feel anxious, depressed or our relationships are not working, and we can’t seem to make it fit. We’ve done so much work, but our wheels seem stuck in the mud. There's hope.
There is always hope~
As we live a disembodied experience, we let our incessantly talking heads take charge of our world. We don’t seem to get off the merry-go-round or we can’t seem to get a hold of what our emotions mean and what they are telling us. A bottom-up approach to integrating body, mind, and soul is necessary to tackle a new way of thinking, being, and doing. We start by gently befriending our body sensations and emotions.
Because we don’t do as we think,
we do as we feel!
In that way, we learn to connect to our inner wisdom, inherent power, and resilience to move towards our best selves. We shift away and navigate the storm toward calmer waters that provide us with peace, and joy.
The human experience of connection
and inner safety is our birthright.
I am a Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, and Emotional Focus therapy certified professional. I have a body-mind-soul integrative and holistic approach to my practice. My style is warm, practical, and effective. I create a safe environment for you to do your best work. I am devoted to the application of best practices and innovative research.
I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking, culturally aware, BIPOC, and LGTBQ-friendly therapist. If you are receiving Ketamine or other related treatments, I am trained in Medicine Assisted Psychotherapy, and I can help with therapy, preparation, integration, and harm reduction.
I use these tools with adults and couples motivated to move the needle forward with beautiful results. Together we explore attachment styles, and interpersonal neurobiology, and practice understanding and befriending the nervous system. I dedicate myself to my clients and the advancement of their healing. Together, we work towards bringing back the true core of their being. That part of us needs to remember what it was like to be whole, at peace, connected, safe, and strong with all the parts of the human experience.
I encourage you to start
this new journey of hope~
